“The film "Trinil" tells the story of a married couple named Rara and Sutan who are ready to start a new life after their honeymoon. Rara inherits a large tea plantation in Central Java. The plantation originally belonged to William Saunder, Rara's father, a Dutch man who deeply loved Indonesia. Meanwhile, Sutan, Rara's husband, works as a nurse at a hospital. One night, Rara experiences sleep paralysis. Realizing something is amiss, Sutan seeks help from Yusof, his schoolmate from Penang, Malaysia, who specializes in various mystical cases. Rara rejects Sutan's idea of linking this incident to something mystical. However, the terror intensifies.
