Lineage of Time tells of a young man named Sena ( Reza Rahardian ) who works as a cafe musician and lives alone. He meets and falls in love with April ( Michelle Ziudith ), a daughter of a wealthy aristocrat. Sena and April are portraits of lovers who have very deep feelings but are hindered by their parents' blessing. April's father is against their relationship. Until one day Sena meets Sanya ( Anya Geraldine ), someone who can turn Sena into a successful musician.
